Inhouse product
The ANALYSETTE 22 NeXT Nano is a static light scattering particle size analyzer from FRITSCH, built on the Reverse Fourier design the company pioneered. It covers 0.01–3800 μm with a single laser and a single scan, because the measuring cell sits at an angle to the beam to capture an unusually wide scattering angle range. Most measurements finish in under a minute, including residue-free cleaning. The unit records temperature and pH during wet dispersion, and the software runs on SOPs with results stored in a revision-proof SQL database. The specifications below cover the measuring unit; dispersion unit, cuvette, and accessories are selected per application.

Pre-installation Requirement:
Place the measuring unit and computer on a rigid, level bench with clearance for the dispersion unit and sample access. Confirm the bench can carry the combined weight of the measuring unit and the selected dispersion accessory. Connect the measuring unit via USB and supply a grounded power connection matching the nameplate. For wet dispersion, provide a water supply and drain or a closed circulation setup, and keep a compressed air source available if dry dispersion is used. Install and check the software before the first measurement run.
Most laser diffraction instruments ask you to trade range against resolution. The ANALYSETTE 22 NeXT Nano laser particle sizer does not, because the Reverse Fourier design places the measuring cell at an angle to the laser beam. That geometry captures a wider scattering angle range in one scan, which is exactly where nano-range sensitivity comes from. One laser, one scan, 0.01–3800 μm.
The practical effect is fewer runs and fewer reruns. You see the result developing live, most measurements finish inside a minute including cleaning, and the valveless rinse on the wet dispersion unit means the next sample starts without a cleaning detour. For a QC lab running dozens of samples a day, that time compounds.
For buyers sourcing through OS4U, the configuration decision is mostly about dispersion: which wet unit, whether the small-volume cuvette fits your sample budget, and whether dry dispersion is needed for water-reactive powders. The FRITSCH ANALYSETTE 22 NeXT Nano page lists the full accessory range.
The ANALYSETTE 22 NeXT Nano laboratory particle size analyzer records the complete measuring range with a single laser and a single scan. No second light source, no switching optics between nano and micron work. You load the sample, the scan runs, and the distribution appears as it develops.
ISO 13320 sets the minimum bar for repeatability, reproducibility, and measuring precision in laser diffraction. The ANALYSETTE 22 NeXT surpasses those requirements, which is what makes results comparable across operators, shifts, and sites rather than only within one session.
The wet dispersion unit rinses without valves, using pump pressure alone. A single rinse clears the system. The hood lifts off for access to the dispersion bath, silicone hoses with smooth interiors resist deposits and make blockages visible, and cap nuts remove without tools. The measuring cell opens by eccentric lock, with no tools needed.
The NeXT cuvette runs 0.01–250 μm measurements on a few milligrams or milliliters of sample with only 7–8.5 ml of dispersion liquid. For precious materials or expensive dispersion media, that is the difference between running the test and skipping it.
Predefined SOPs set dispersion process, duration, measuring frequency, and intervals automatically. You can edit and save your own. Individual user rights control who can change what, so the validated method does not drift when a new operator signs in.
Every entry, parameter, and result is saved automatically and revision-proof in an SQL database. Temperature and pH log continuously during wet dispersion. Reports are configurable, data exports to Excel, and the system works across a local network.
Struggling to measure nano and micron particles on one instrument? The angled measuring cell widens the recorded scattering angle range, and the single-laser design covers 0.01–3800 μm in one scan. No second instrument for the nano end.
Losing time to cleaning between samples? Valveless rinsing, a lift-off hood, tool-free hoses, and a tool-free measuring cell cut changeover to a single rinse. Most measurements finish in under a minute including that cleaning step.
Getting results that shift between operators? Predefined SOPs, user rights, and ISO 13320-beating reproducibility keep the method consistent. Comparison of measurements and a configurable report generator make differences visible rather than hidden.
Running out of sample before the test is done? The NeXT cuvette needs only a few milligrams or milliliters, with 7–8.5 ml of dispersion volume, across 0.01–250 μm.
Measuring powders that react in water? Dry dispersion with a Venturi nozzle and adjustable compressed air flow handles free-flowing, water-reactive materials from under 1 cm³ to about 300 cm³.
Worried about data integrity? The SQL database stores everything revision-proof, user access is individually assigned, and reports and Excel exports are available for review.
