Inhouse product
Heat is the simplest accelerant for material degradation, and the Aging Oven uses it deliberately. Rubber, plastic, leather, and fabric samples are held at a controlled elevated temperature for a defined period, then tested for changes in color, adhesion, shrinkage, elongation, and tensile properties. This Aging Oven is built for materials laboratories, footwear and textile manufacturers, and quality control departments that need ISO 188 and ASTM D573 aging data without waiting months for ambient degradation to show itself.
The Aging Oven is supplied in two temperature variants, GT-KD01-1 and GT-KD01-2, sharing the same chamber, control system, and turntable configuration.

The Aging Oven is available in a 200°C version for standard rubber and plastic aging and a 300°C version for higher-temperature evaluations. You select the ceiling that matches your material and test method, rather than running a 200°C material through an oven capable of 300°C or pushing a high-temp sample past its limit.
ISO 188 and ASTM D573 specify air exchange rates because the aging mechanism depends on oxygen availability, not just temperature. The GT-KD01 holds an exchange rate of 3 to 10 times per hour and an average air speed of 0.5 ± 0.25 m/s. The chamber conditions the air, not just the temperature reading.
The 35 cm turntable rotates at 3 to 10 rpm, moving samples through the chamber's air stream so no single position sits in a hot or stagnant zone. For multi-sample runs, this reduces position-to-position variation in aging results.
The touch screen controller displays and sets temperature at 0.1°C resolution, and the timer runs from 0 to 999 hours. For aging protocols that span days, the timer holds the setpoint without an operator resetting it.

Struggling to keep air exchange rate consistent across aging runs?
The chamber regulates exchange at 3 to 10 times per hour and air speed at 0.5 ± 0.25 m/s. The aging environment is defined by airflow as well as temperature, and both are controlled.
Concerned about temperature drift over multi-day aging cycles?
The touch screen controller holds setpoint at 0.1°C resolution, and the timer runs up to 999 hours. The oven maintains the condition through the full protocol rather than requiring daily adjustment.
Tired of samples aging unevenly across the chamber?
The turntable rotates at 3 to 10 rpm, moving samples through the air stream. Position within the chamber becomes less of a variable in the aging result.
Need aging data that maps to ISO 188 or ASTM D573 review?
Temperature range, air exchange, and air speed are specified to match the method. The chamber conditions are documented, so the aging result references a controlled environment rather than an approximate oven setting.
We provide a 1-year manufacturer's warranty covering parts and labor. Technical support, installation assistance, and operational training are also available. Replacement parts and consumables are available throughout the product's service life.
